The meaning of true partnership

“True partnership is a bond that does not fit in any predefined discourse. It requires spontaneity as a pre-condition to the educational process although education is not the mere result of spontaneity. It is a middle path, only possible to access if we do something out of these initial conditions. This something is based on the experience of limits. The place where this experience happens is, for Buber, the between (Zwischen). Here we can point the most remarkable affinity with Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development in the understanding of the conditio humana.”
